National Honor Society

Members of the National Honor Society in the Honor "S" Chapter at Morgan County  R-I School are selected from among sophomore, junior, and senior class members of the student body.  Students are evaluated on four qualifications before being selected as members:  scholarship, leadership, service, and character.  Students meeting these qualifications with an accumulative grade point of 3.25 are eligible to become members of Honor Society.
     On March 23, 2006 the NHS will hold their formal initiation service for the new members in the school cafeteria. The S Chapter have in past years painted the bulldog tracks from the highway to the high school.
